Mobile Video Training

This highly efficient training brings video-based instruction and job-related information to your shop, maintenance yard or training facility. All training materials reflect Florida's regulations and guidelines. Sessions are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Your agency is responsible for the meeting space and providing breaks as appropriate.

Budget Minded? Get the best value with MVTs

Since we must now charge a small fee to cover expenses, the best value to an agency is to schedule as much training in one day as possible and have the instructor travel down and back without having to stay overnight.

Sharing costs with another local agency is also a good way to save money and train the maximum number of employees at once. The average cost per training hour decreases as the total number of training hours offered increases.

How the Request Process Works:

1st: Fill out the request form and submit via email, fax, or mail.

2nd: Submitted requests will be placed in one of two categories

  • Qualified for Scholarship:
    Agency training scholarship qualifications will be determined by information on the request form, so make sure the information provided is both accurate and current.
  • Fee Required:
    Fees are calculated based on the number of round trip travel hours plus number of training hours per offering.

3rd: If your agency qualifies for scholarship designation, you will be notified. Otherwise, your agency will be notified of the fee and will have the chance to accept the fee or cancel the training request.

4th: Once the fee has been accepted (or the scholarship formalized) training will be scheduled and fee-based agencies will be invoiced at this time.
