Asphalt Paving Level 2

Three day's instruction on inspecting asphalt pavement construction to ensure trainees are familiar with specifications, practices and equipment required to correctly perform such responsibilities to standards.

Qualification Information

To receive this qualification, trainees must...

1. Pass the Asphalt Paving Level 2 written examination.
2. Pass the Asphalt Paving Level 1 written examination (only if not currently qualified).
3. Have 90 days experience in asphalt paving operations or asphalt roadway testing.

Initial qualification in Paving 2 requires passing both the Paving 2 written exam and the Paving 1 written exam (but not full level 1 qualification). Re-qualification only requires that the trainee pass the Paving 2 written exam prior to expiration.

Also satisfies requirements for QC Manager (other qualifications can also satisfy the requirement).

Professional Engineers Credit: 16 PDH.
Contractor's License Credit: 16 CEU (satisfies requirements for 1 hour Workplace Safety and 1 hour Business Practices).

• HMA Compaction
• Balancing Production Rates
• Field Testing and Inspection

Payment for registrations must be either by credit card at time of registration or by check within 10 days of the session start date.
