Description

Two day's instruction covering portions of Sections 346, 347, 400 and other sections of the FDOT SSRBC (see the Specifications Office page), relevant to placement and field testing of concrete.

Qualification Information

  • Concrete Field Technician Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications require passing this exam.
  • Course attendance is optional. Challenging the exam and passing will still meet requirements.

Course Content

The following sections of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction book are covered during instruction:

  • Section 346: Portland Cement Concrete
  • Section 347: Portland Cement Concrete - Class I, Nonstructural
  • Section 400: Concrete Structures
  • Portions of other sections which apply are also covered.
Professional Engineers Credit: 12 PDH.

Start times are consistent. End times may vary depending on instruction required and class size.  This session's exam time may vary due to post-lunch review, but those registered as "Exam Only" attendees should still arrive at 1:00PM.
